Julia Redman, RYT500 Julia recognizes yoga as her greatest passion in both her personal and professional life. Not only reaping the physical benefits, through dedicated practice, yoga has brought mindfulness, compassion, and patience into her life and relationships. Julia received her first Yoga Alliance Certification (200hr) in Maui, Hawaii in 2011. She studied the Krishnamacharya lineage of Hatha and Raja yoga practices. This lineage emphasizes ‘yoga for the self’, adapting poses to support each individual. She received her 300hr certification in 2014. Julia is grateful that she is able to continue learning and practicing, and to share what she’s learned and experienced with others. Practice tuning in to physical sensations, breathing with purpose, and observing activity in the mind in Julia’s classes. Coordinate breath with movement, utilize core stability, and establish a balance between effort and ease. Cultivate a deeper connection within body, breath, mind, and spirit to feel more grounded, energized, and whole.
